Fountainbridge temporary greenspace opens
Fountainbridge temporary greenspace is now officially open to the public. Paul Wheelhouse MSP, Environment Minister, attended the official opening and praised the use of the site as a temporary greenspace attraction for the city. The paths and planting reflect the intended layout of the streets so this is a first step toward creating a new neighbourhood at Fountainbridge. There’s more in the pipeline for temporary use of the site including improving walking links and an arts wall.
More information on temporary greenspace can be found at the Grove Community Garden and Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust.
