With 118 homes delivered for the The City of Edinburgh Council, Plot 1 (P1) marks the first phase of Western Harbour regeneration masterplan and the creation of a new waterfront community comprising over 1,600 new homes within a mixed-use neighbourhood which will include shops, work space, a new school, a health centre and one of the largest new parks in the city for over a hundred years.

We recently visited the site to see progress first-hand, with the new homes and public realm beginning to take shape as this milestone project moves forward.

Breaking ground in 2021, during one of the most challenging construction periods, P1 showcases an innovative approach to hybrid construction delivered by CCG (Scotland) Ltd - combining off-site manufactured timber panels with a steel transfer structure, concrete podium deck and a mix of cladding materials that will carry through future phases.

Completion and handover are expected in early 2026, creating energy efficient homes with low-carbon heating at the heart of this new neighbourhood.
