7N Architects, in collaboration with Michael Laird Architects, are delighted to have been selected by EDI to develop a master plan for Edinburgh’s Fountainbridge area, following a competitive selection process.

The team have been tasked to create a vision of a modern neighbourhood with the capacity to house a new Boroughmuir High School and offer some expansion potential to the city’s business district. The City of Edinburgh Council’s property company, EDI will use the plans and recommendations by the masterplanning team to shape the overall development of the area.

City Design Leader, Riccardo Marini, said:
