The Pinkston Paddlesports Centre gets planning

The Pinkston Paddlesports Centre, proposed for the Pinkston basin at Port Dundas in Glasgow, has been granted planning permission.


This will be Scotland’s first purpose-built hub for paddle sports and it is envisaged that as well as providing a centre for sporting excellence for canoeing and watersports it will also be a key driver in the overall regeneration of the canal area at Port Dundas. 7N have carried out design proposals for the scheme, which incorporates innovative solutions for low-cost, creative accommodation for changing, training, administration and storage. The project has been developed with EPD Ltd and Glasgow City Council.
