7N Architects are delighted to share that our Haymarket Yards project received planning permission from The City of Edinburgh Council in a unanimous decision.
Situated in the heart of Edinburgh by Haymarket station, the development comprising an 183,000sq.ft office building and 197 key hotel, will play an important role in the reinvigoration of a former goods yard into a new business district clustered around the transport hub. The net zero office building responds to the shift in occupier demand towards sustainable workspaces that are focused on the wellbeing of workers with shared internal winter garden spaces and extensive, landscaped roof terraces.
Councillors praised our design team’s considered approach to the design, materials, and townscape analysis.
We look forward working with our client, Stamford Property Holdings Ltd, and the consultant team to move the project on to construction in 2024.
