Temple Park Crescent has been designed to repair a long standing gap in the tenement streetscape in the well established area of Merchiston. The proposal embraces the unique canal-side setting with generous balconies and terraces fronting onto the Union Canal. Designed in collaboration with Wardell Armstrong, landscaped gardens provide high quality spaces for play, communal growing and relaxation in order to promote well-being and a sense of community for all future residents.
Comprising 46 new homes, including affordable provision, the project will deliver a varied mix of one, two and three bed apartments on brownfield land providing much needed housing in the city centre. All dwellings are designed with flexible family living in mind, secure cycle storage, electric car charging, city car club provision and close proximity to public transport links, making it easier for residents to lead a sustainable lifestyle.
